LoRAD (LOw energy Radiation and data acquisition) is a Lorawan compatible environnemental sensing device i developped. It features:

• A 6 months long battery life (in some modes)
• A geiger tube and its supporting circuitry to detect ionising particles
• A BME688 temperature / Humidity / Air pressure / TVOC sensor
• A RA-08 (ASR6601 within) lora enabled SOC
• A ch32V003 MCU that manages the rad boost converter (400V), it also reads the pulses from the tube and provides the data over I²C, all without CPU involvement since it’s all DMA based.
• An integrated sound system for audio feedback
• GPS capabilities
• fast 10W charging over USB-C PD
